This technology delivers orders in perfect-sized, sustainable boxes without any human loading or pre-consolidation for multis. Orders are placed in the innovative CMC Vary-Totes which feature adjustable inner guides that accurately size each order, determining the unique dimensions of every box. By doing so, it efficiently feeds and packs multi orders and irregularly shaped products without the use of strapping or wrapping. The plotter's unique design also ensures that trimmings are folded inside the four edges of the box, creating a robust barrier for holding multiple items together, resulting in even stronger boxes compared to previous methods with paper-based fillers. Offcuts are collected and sent to a plant which recycles the bulk of the cardboard. Additionally, the incorporated easy opening feature enhances the customer experience, providing frustration-free unboxing. We have also simplified recycling by adopting CMC Genesys mono-material approach for the entire packaging, making it easier for consumers to recycle; boxes are safely sealed with low impact glue, avoiding the use of tape and facilitating easy disposal.
