Two years ago, we programmed our comparison portal, which has proven itself in practice and won over our customers. However, we are not standing still, but rather continuing to develop: after all, with each new customer requirement, we become even better at recognising what is important for perfect shipping and successful fulfilment. We are currently working on numerous innovations to meet these requirements, from integrating additional international postal companies and fine-tuning warehouse management to integrating the Amazon interface and the app for iOS and Android. Whatever demands the market and customers may place on us in the future, we are ready.

OUR NEW SHIPPING SECRET: 100,000 FANTASTIC RATES

Maintaining an overview in the jungle of worldwide shipping prices is only possible if you know the industry like we do. In order to offer the best price at all times, we have purchased a total of 60,000 postage rates and services from international postal companies, from which we select the one that best suits our customers and their goods.

PERFECT FOR LIGHT WEIGHTS

Most tariffs offered by the well-known parcel services are based on size or are particularly suitable for „heavyweights“. Yet the average weight of all e-commerce parcels shipped globally is just 800 g. International postal operators offer a wide range of shipping services for all goods weighing up to 2 kg. This method of dispatch via what is known as the letter stream, in which parcels are delivered by the usual domestic postal companies, is generally much cheaper in accordance with the internationally agreed Universal Postal Convention and is also simpler in terms of customs clearance. Shipping goods up to 2 kg is a matter close to our hearts, but of course we also offer insured shipping of parcels up to 31 kg.

UNRIVALLED EFFECTIVENESS: PAKAJO COMPARISON PORTAL

So how do customers find the best offer for them amongst our 100,000 or so tariffs? It‘s easy with our PAKAJO comparison portal. After entering the relevant data, such as destination country, weight, product group and dimensions, an algorithm calculates the best prices and the comparison portal shows the customer both the cheapest and the fastest shipping method in a matter of seconds.

THE RESULT: FAVOURITE PRICES ACCURATE TO THE NEAREST GRAMME

Ultimately, our customers only pay for the actual weight of their goods and not a single gram more.

The PAKAJO SHIPMENT CLIENT also has an API connection to Shopify, one of the best-known shop systems which is currently used by around 1.7 million online shops worldwide. Other shop systems such as Amazon, ebay, Magento, shopware and WooCommerce will be connected gradually. Without a shop connection, customers simply use the import and export system in their dashboard for shipping. Through this API interface, our business customers can access all our shipping and fulfilment services at any time and, for example, view the available quantities of items using inventory management.

In November 2022 Pakajo got the award for the exmployer of the future in the category digital champpions - startups. The prize is awarded for the fifth time by the news channel ntv, the magazine DUP UNTERNEHMER and the German Institute for Service Quality. The patron of the award is Brigitte Zypries, former Federal Minister. A top-class jury from business, science and the media evaluated the nominations received. The prizes are awarded for particularly outstanding projects.
