MakeBeCool Shopify Growth Service - we help business owners and eCommerce management teams achieve systemic success in business growth through deep work on store performance. As part of this service we cover the following areas of responsibility

  • maintenance - we take care of high loading speed, selection and integration of marketing and integration solutions, implementation of changes. We ensure the safety and security of the store in an environment of constant experimentation and change.
  • AOV. We think through and implement strategies for increasing the average price using upsale/cross-sell tools
  • LTV & Retention. We develop loyalty programs. We build trigger email flows for retention and repeat purchases. We are working to increase subscription conversion. We are working to increase the conversion to reviews, which leads to increased loyalty and brand awareness.
  • CR. We analyze and test hypotheses throughout the funnel to find points of effort where the greatest potential is hidden

Product or service innovations

Growth eCommerce PlayBook and Growth roadmap. Every test, every result, every case supported by numbers is recorded and structured in our PlayBook as a separate recipe for a growth strategy. Details of the starting point, list and order of actions and changes that were made, conclusions on what this affected and the results of how the KPIs changed. We describe everything, including the tools and services that were used. This PlayBook allows us to get better and better hypotheses with each work and significantly shorten the path to growth. And also approach growth predictably, calculating what revenue we can expect for what period. Thus, for each of our partners we build an individual growth roadmap based on KPI and a data-driven approach

Customer case study

Revenue growth for by 67% YoY

We enabled the partner to engage in marketing and product improvement, taking responsibility for conversion rates, AOV, and increasing the number of subscriptions. Our team made significant changes to the sales funnel and product selection, as well as the selection of additional products to create bundles. Here are some of these experiments:

  • Automatize the amount of refill packs to choose: Depending on the buyer's choice of a subscription or a one-time purchase, a different number of refill packs are offered, pre-installed in the order. This helps motivate customers to choose a subscription, and also increases the average receipt for one-time purchases
  • Add funnel step “extras”: In the last phase of order creation, we introduced a special product category to complement the products selected by the customer and are likely to be added to the order. Due to this, our partner has an additional tool to increase the number of subscriptions, as well as the AOV. We tested additional products as subscription bonuses, significantly improving subscription conversion rates.
  • To improve the conversion rate of the entire funnel, additional communication and navigation were developed, allowing users to navigate at what step they are now and what is required of them next
  • Collection and use of reviews: Chains of emails and communication that motivates to leave reviews. Customer focus on product quality and user satisfaction. All this made it possible to significantly increase the conversion of reviews and use them to increase conversion in the sales funnel by demonstrating social proof

These and other changes resulted in a rise in key indicators:

  • Revenue: growth by 67%
  • AOV: growth by 25%
  • Number of subscribers: growth by 73%
