Tumi agreed to run a 30-day Proof-of-Value (POV) to assess the impact of Customer Journey Hijacking on TUMI’s eCommerce business metrics. Since Namogoo’s solution integrates with most analytics platforms, Tumi's team was able to track progress using TUMI’s own Google Analytics, making the data and results more transparent. The results revealed the prevalence of unauthorized ads throughout TUMI’s product and checkout pages. The vast majority — 97 percent — of these ads promoted direct competitors.TUMI saw the conversion rate amongst hijacked visitors rise by 14.29 percent, translating to a 2.25% overall conversion rate uplift. Improvements were also seen at key parts of the buyer journey, including the checkout area, where abandonments dropped by 16 percent.
