• Sitecore continues to prioritize a “flexibility over features” platform development philosophy to continue to introduce unlimited options for customization for our customers. As a headless platform we exposed the entire data model and its behavior via a RESTful API. This means that features of OrderCloud aren't aligned to the monolithic UI based commerce platforms of the past. We deploy flexible capabilities that are transformed as features in the user experience. Many areas of the platform demonstrate this philosophy: Rules Engine, Extended Properties. A recent example is Product Collections. It’s easy to browse, shop, order, and re-order all of the supplies they need to run their business. Promotions and announcements are communicated clearly. • Jonastone drives 25% increase in revenue with Sitecore: Bringing the showroom experience online Jonastone needed to offer an online experience that matched or even surpassed its in-store experience. Product presentation had to be supported by contextual and helpful content on product pages and in cart. Delivery times had to be specific to coincide with build schedules.
