You can find the detailed descriptions here. Please make sure to read them before the submission, as our Jury Members will choose the winner according to the category criteria.

Here are the most important dates in the contest:

  1. Entry into the contest and submissions: November 2, 2020 - November 30, 2020
  2. Internet Users’ public voting: December 1, 2020 - December 18, 2020
  3. Public Voting Nominees’ announcement: December 21, 2020
  4. Jury voting & The selection of winners: January 11, 2021 - January 22, 2021
  5. The winners’ announcement during the E-commerce Germany Awards Ceremony: February 17, 2021

Participation in the E-commerce Germany Awards Contest is free of charge for the E-commerce Berlin Expo exhibitors. Other participants will be required to pay a participation fee of 200 EUR, but only in case they are in the top10 companies in the category and get through to the second round of the competition.

Yes, you can enter two submissions. However, each of them needs to be in a different category. Please note that having more than one submission may make it more difficult to win since people may vote for any of your submissions, yet the votes don’t add up.

You will find the ranking on the E-commerce Germany Awards website. It will be updated every 24 hours, so you can check your current votes count and position in the Contest. Please note that the number of votes will not be visible for the first two weeks of the online voting.

For us, fair play is the core value, not a buzzword. Our IT department will be closely monitoring the voting process. All the suspicious activities suggesting the use of illegal tactics, tools, bots or simply buying votes will be investigated. After the investigation finds possible proof of cheating, we will verify them and, if needed, cancel all the votes acquired using illegal methods. Also, that particular submission might be dismissed without any possibility to appeal. Our system is sensitive to any cheating attempts, so we don’t recommend cheating as it may result in your submission’s withdrawal.
